Extraction Description : The volatile oil obtained by steam distillation from the leaves of the herb known as lemon balm.

Scent Description : A fragrant lemony scent

 

 

Melissa Essential Oil. Used for wasp and bee stings. Good to use last thing at night. Can be uplifting to spirits. The Female Oil. Skin enhancing. Room spray/ Insect repellent. Excellent to use with the elderly when confusion is a problem, can be massaged into the hands using a carrier oil.

 

 

Paracelsus called it the Elixir of Life. It was used for anxiety, melancholy and to strengthen and revive the vital spirit.
